Our presenter for the European Forum meeting on Saturday morning 6 August, will be Sigrún Jóhannesdóttir, Educational consultant at the Education and Training Service Centre in Reykjavik.

Sigrún gave a workshop some years back on a similar topic at an international conference.  Those who heard her speak then thought she was brilliant and this seems the right moment to invite members in Europe to think about where we stand. Sigrun is willing to lead a discussion after her presentation.

Sigrún is a key member of DKG in Iceland. She has been very active, has been State President and has served on several committees at State level, for example, the steering committee for the European conference held in Reykjavik in 2003. She has attended all European conferences and many Internationals, and has presented workshops on several occasions.  She has founded chapters and is the godmother of Lambda chapter, the new chapter in the Reykjavik area.  She has been involved in the leadership course for incoming chapter presidents for many years, in charge of the handbook for Iceland, and much more as well.
