At the AGM of the European Forum meeting in Amsterdam, a proposal from Jess Curtis, GB State, was agreed,- ‘that there should be a competition to compose a new DKG song’. If we are to be a vibrant modern society, attracting early career teachers, there is a need for an alternative song that reflects our present time. Songs should be in English with an easy melody.
GB State members are currently working on a song, with words written by Ros Price, and in Norway, one chapter has also produced a song.
