Dear Friends and DKG Sisters
In these strange days of physical isolation and restrictions on travelling due to the corona pandemic, we in DKG Europe have reasons to strengthen our virtual networks - with each other as well as with members all over the world. Get Connected is normally a monthly information letter from the Communication and Marketing Committee but now we have the opportunity to further develop the concept. Let it stand for a flow of ideas and messages between members and friends and let us develop this flow into a cascade of sharing and inspiration. We have to find new and innovative ways to communicate besides the work tools we use today, webinars, chats, zoom discussions, facebook groups, DKG Communities @ dkg.org etc.
Can we keep the warmth of celebration or the joy to find new friends? What are the limits of our virtual reality? I have noticed that the current digital tool kit, obviously and critically, lack the power of using all senses in our interactions. The precious memories from our European meetings encompass more than just the exchange of words. In an article about virtual education the authors write that we need opportunities for informal, creative, and personal exchange for transformative learning

How can we do this? Do you have a good example?
All the best
